Additional locations are billed monthly. Your base plan may be billed monthly or annually; adding or removing a location does not change your base-plan billing cycle.

A "location" is a separate street address; multiple rooms at one address count as one. New locations are prorated for the remainder of the current billing period. Removing a location takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Closed locations can be archived, and historical records remain accessible.

Practitioner caps are business-wide, not per location.4A "practitioner" is any active team member bookable for appointments; owners/admin staff who aren't bookable don't count. Practitioners who leave can be archived, keeping records while freeing the seat. Reactivating one that exceeds your cap requires upgrading first. Core/Expand/Scale limits are hard caps, adding beyond your limit prompts an upgrade confirmation.

Your base rate doesn't creep up later.5Join at today's price, it stays yours while your account remains continuously active on that plan. If you move to a different tier, that tier's then-current rate applies. If you return later, the then-current rate for that tier applies. Public rate increases never apply retroactively.

Cancel anytime, no fees.6Monthly plans: cancel anytime, effective at end of billing period. Annual plans: paid upfront, auto-renew unless canceled (reminder sent first), non-refundable once billed. Failed payments: 7-day grace period, account stays accessible, data never locked. Upgrades take effect immediately with prepaid balance credited; downgrades take effect at next renewal.

One-time payment, replaces your monthly subscription forever.7"Locked for life" = for as long as your account is active/in good standing, one legal business only, transferable only via a bona fide sale (documentation may be required), locks pricing/access not the exact feature set. Third-party pass-through costs and future add-ons aren't covered unless stated. "20 total, ever" means 20 completed, non-refunded memberships; a refunded spot (within 14 days) reopens. Founding status covers your base price, location rate, Apex overage rate, and storage tier.

Reserve with a $500 deposit. The remaining balance is due at activation, which begins on or before December 1, 2026.8Founding deposit and activation. A $500 deposit reserves the selected Founding tier, subject to availability. It does not activate BuboSoma access or the Founding lifetime rate. The remaining balance is due at launch. Access and the Founding lifetime rate activate only after the balance is paid in full. If the balance is not paid by the stated deadline, the reservation expires and the account does not receive Founding lifetime access. Activation begins on or before December 1, 2026; the deposit is refundable before activation, and if activation has not begun by that date you may request a full refund. See Footnote 9 for the initial-payment refund window.

Refer Anyone, Anytime

If your referral results in a Founding signup, you both get BuboSoma account credit.10Excludes businesses you own/control and existing customers/leads. Credit is up to one month of your own plan's normal price, applied to your BuboSoma invoice until used, and expires 12 months after it’s issued. Stackable, no cap. Earned once the referred purchase's 14-day refund window passes. No cash value, not transferable, can't reduce fees below zero. Credit goes to whichever referral code is entered at checkout; codes can't change after purchase. Forfeited on cancellation. Not affected by downgrades.

+$15/practitioner/month beyond the included 20, Founding members lock this rate for life too.11The 20 included practitioners are a business-wide pool, divisible across locations however you like, not added per location. Additions prorate for the month added; the charge is removed the next billing cycle once a practitioner is archived.

Marketing texts (campaigns, promotions)

Additional messages: $0.015 each, matching Vagaro's best rate, standard here from day one.13"Texts" = standard SMS segments; longer messages/emojis may count as more than one. MMS isn't currently supported. Choose your overage behavior in account settings: automatic billing at $0.015/segment, or pause sending at your included allowance. Until you choose, sending pauses at your included allowance. You can also set spend alerts or a hard monthly cap. Campaigns that would exceed your spending cap are never partially sent, you'll be prompted to send an affordable partial batch, raise your cap, or cancel before anything goes out. Vagaro's $0.015 rate is only available at their $400/mo Huge tier. (Competitor pricing checked August 2026.)

Joining 2027+? A High-Volume Email upgrade is $100/mo/location, 500,000 emails/month, a different product from true Unlimited above. Additional email blocks are $10 per 10,000 sends when you opt in.14Vagaro charges $90/mo for a 100,000-email cap; Mailchimp charges $285–$535/mo with overage fees even on their top tier. BuboSoma's true-Unlimited has no overage clause. (Checked August 2026.) New/unusually large lists face a one-time first-send throttle to protect deliverability, not a volume limit. Only account owners may opt in, set, or change the monthly spend cap for email blocks; the account owner receives usage alerts at 80%, 90%, 95%, and 100% of the included allowance and any selected spend cap. Blocks are billed in 10,000-send increments, including any partial block, and appear as one aggregated line item on your next monthly invoice. Unused included sends or purchased blocks do not roll into the next billing period.

Keeping unlimited fair. A strike occurs at 3%+ bounce (100+ recipient campaigns) or 0.1%+ complaints with 3+ complaints.151st strike: warning, plan stays active. 2nd: suspended for the rest of the calendar month. 3rd (within a rolling 90 days): unlimited access terminated, you keep your tier's included volume, no prorated refund. Strikes age out individually 90 days after they occur. Sending is from your own verified domain. Permission-based lists only, you may only send to recipients you're legally permitted to contact. Unsubscribes apply to your account only. Canceling unlimited and re-adding later means paying the then-current rate. Fair use: unusually large/automated volume inconsistent with normal practice use gets a conversation, not a cutoff.

Cards issued outside the US, or payments requiring currency conversion, carry your processor's additional fees on top of the standard rate. This is passed through at cost, not marked up.17Swiped, tapped, or entered by the client online all use the standard rate. A staff member manually keying in a card (e.g. over the phone or at signup) uses the keyed-in rate for that one transaction only, if a charge happens at that moment. Every recurring charge after that uses the standard rate, regardless of how the card was originally captured. Saving a card with no charge has no fee at all. ACH suits larger one-time purchases better than same-day payments, since it settles in 3-5 business days. Chargeback and dispute fees pass through to the practitioner whose transaction is disputed.

Refunds do not return the original processing fee.22When a transaction is refunded to the client, the original processing fee, 3.5% + $0.30, the 3.9% + $0.30 keyed-in rate, or the applicable ACH rate, is retained. This matches standard card network and processor practice.

ACH returns carry a $15 fee, charged to the clinic by default.23If an ACH debit is returned after processing (insufficient funds, closed account, unauthorized, etc.), the payment reverses and the invoice returns to an outstanding balance. A $15 return fee applies, charged to the clinic by default; clinics may pass this fee to their client per their own client agreement. Both the clinic and client are notified immediately. Returned payments are not automatically retried, the clinic can reattempt collection or request an alternate payment method.

• AI Receptionist: $10/mo/location. Up to 200 AI-handled conversations/month, additional at $0.05 each.18Automatically responds to incoming client text messages. A new conversation begins after 24 consecutive hours without client interaction, multiple messages within that window count as one conversation. Automatic reminders/confirmations don't count as AI conversations. Currently SMS only. Only account owners can enable extra conversations or set a hard monthly spending cap.
